Women’s International Peace Centre (The Peace Centre), formerly Isis-Women’s International Cross-Cultural Exchange (Isis-WICCE), is a feminist organization with a mission to ignite women’s leadership, amplify their voices and deepen their activism in re-creating peace.

The Peace Centre invites suitably qualified bidders at District, National and International level to submit sealed bids for pre-qualification for the provision of various categories of goods and services as listed below for the year 2023- 2025 from the following Locations:  Uganda (Lira, Dokolo, Mbale, Yumbe, Adjumani, Arua, Napak, Moroto, Kotido, Kasese, Amuria, Wakiso and Kampala); Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan.

Existing suppliers who wish to be retained MUST apply and submit up-to-date information as requested in this pre-qualification document.

In addition to the requirements in the pre-qualification application form, interested applicants must provide the following documents:

  1. Certificate of registration of business in the country of operation (Uganda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan)
  2. Revenue Authority Tax Registration Certificate
  3. Tax Clearance Certificate for the financial year ended 30th June 2022
  4. Articles and Memorandum of Association
  5. Audited Accounts for at least the last three years indicating the annual turnover
  6. CVs of Management and Technical Staff
  7. Official Business physical, postal, telephone and email address
  8. Proof of insurance of business and workman’s compensation (where applicable)
  9. Certified Bank Statement for the period ended 30th June 2022
  10. Reference and recommendations from at least 3 present clients

For District-based Service Providers;

  1. Certificate of registration of business in Uganda.
  2. Uganda Revenue Authority Tax Registration Certificate
  3. Official Business physical, postal, telephone and email address
  4. Certified Bank Statement for the period ended 30th June 2022 and Account Number
  5. Reference and recommendations for 2 present client(s)

Category 1: Supply of Goods

Motor vehicles and Motorcycles, Tyres, tubes and protective gear for Motor Vehicles Motorcycles; IT Equipment (Computers & accessories, Printers, copiers, communication equipment and all accessories); Office Furniture and Fittings; Assorted Office Stationery, Toner and Ink Cartridges; Air Conditioner and Accessories; Petroleum Products (Fuel, Oils and Lubricants); Installation and Maintenance of Generators, Solar Equipment & Inverters; Building & Plumbing materials; Office consumables.

 Category 2: Services

Advertising & Media services; Hotel & Conference facilities; Printing, art & Design services, Branding and Interior design; Security services; Insurance; Courier services; Transport & Hire services; Filming & recording services; Maintenance and Repair of Vehicles; Maintenance of Office Furniture & Fittings; Catering services; Garbage collection and disposal; Air Ticketing, Tours & Travel services; Information Technology & System Management, IT Networking Software Maintenance; electrical wiring &maintenance; Fumigation services; Plumbing & Construction services; Interpretation and Translation (French/English), Rapportuering, Editing; Training (Peacebuilding, Women’s Rights, Feminism, Leadership, Advocacy)
