PROSCOVIA NAKAYE
Proscovia Nakaye leads the Leadership Development Program at the Peace Centre. For the past 8 years she has managed and coordinated the Program bringing together women human rights activists and peace building activists to amplify voice, enhance their agency and capacities for participation, promotion and protection of women in the peacebuilding processes from 5 post conflict countries of Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nepal, South Sudan and Uganda.
Previously she served as the Administrator and Human Resource Officer for 5 years where she spearheaded the development and revision of several policies of the organization.
Proscovia has a Masters in Ethics, Public Management and Human Rights, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resource and a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities. She has also undertaken advanced courses in gender, peace building and conflict transformation.
