This report presents the key outcomes of the Regional Learning and Networking Exchange of 2023 held with Just Future in Tanzania which focused on the theme “Empowering Voices, Building Peace: Advancing the Women, Peace and Security Agenda”. The event brought together Just Future partners from the DRC, South Sudan, Burundi, Niger and Mali to create a platform for learning and knowledge-sharing on issues related to Women, Peace, and Security.
The report highlights discussions, exchanges of best practices, and proposed strategies to strengthen civil society participation in the Women, Peace, and Security agenda. It concludes with recommendations and concrete actions aimed at supporting women’s leadership, enhancing regional collaboration, and ensuring sustainable impact on peace and security in the region.
