This report presents the key outcomes from the Regional Learning and Exchange meeting held in Kampala, 2025 on “Commemorating 25 Years of UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security: Tracking Stock and Rejuvenation Passion”, bringing together civil society actors, government representatives, and development partners from Burundi, the DRC, South Sudan, Uganda, and Sudan. It assesses progress made since the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, highlights ongoing challenges, and emphasizes the central role of women in peace processes.

The report also highlights good practices, structural and funding challenges, and provides recommendations to strengthen the WPS Agenda. It concludes with a commitment to develop a new regional roadmap for 2025–2030, aiming to align national efforts with regional objectives, support youth and women’s leadership, and ensure sustainable impact on the ground.
