Juliet Were is the Deputy Executive Director at Women’s International Peace Centre. She has a key role in supporting and coordinating the planning, development, implementation and reviewing the three programmatic themes of the Exchange Programme, Information and Communication, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation; ensuring an effective contribution to the realization of The Peace Centre’s mission. The position directly manages the Coordinators of these programmes to prepare Strategic and Periodical Plans, resource mobilization, advocacy and networking, financial and human resource management and above all team building. Juliet has worked for 21 years in  Programme Management and  Leadership.

Juliet has a Master of Arts degree in Development Studies, Masters of Public Health Leadership; Bachelor of Library & Information Science.
