Michael Okinyom is the Security Officer in charge of maintaining the security of The Peace Centre’s offices. Michael is also part of the Security Management Committee that drives security strategy, eliminates redundant security effort and spending, and creates a stronger security culture. He patrols office premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of security to all organization property and staff, document the daily handing over of offices highlighting daily activities and irregularities such equipment or property damage/theft, maintenance and general support.

Michael has worked with Women’s International Peace Centre as a Security Officer since June 2002. Before joining The Centre, he worked as a security guard at Alarm protection services.

Michael enjoys watching soccer, jogging, and hanging out with friends.
